Dolce & Gabbana
The womenswear and menswear collections of Dolce & Gabbana complement each other, so that also the menswear collection is influenced by the Greek theme. The collection works with bold prints and sharp tailoring. The color palette includes earthy shades and pure summery white.
Mexico is the inspiration for the Etro collection. For the mexican look western pockets prints and tooled leather detailing are added to the sharp tailoring. The label's trademark paisley is used in a more subtle way this spring, as for example branded into leather shirts and jackets.
Also the Gucci's menswear collection is more casual and includes elements from sportswear. T-shirts replaced shirts; a shirt jacket was the casual alternative for a blazer and the fabrics turned tech. All together Gucci took a younger and more athletic approach.
Miuccia Prada played with "the cliché of the exotic—and the cliché of summer" for her spring collection. The result is a look between business and casual with hawaiian prints and flower patterns reminding of the 1950s.
