summer and the cities - New York

After a month full of amazing autumn and winter trends, it is time to concentrate again on the presence. Spring is there and comes in beautiful colors and pattern. I have collected here for you my favorite trends and looks from the different fashion metropoles. So let's start with the New York look!

Diane von Fürstenberg
Part of Diane von Fürstenberg's Oasis are beautiful maxi dresses in bright orange and blue shades or black and white graphics.

Donna Karan
Also Donna Karan's the silhouette based on long dresses and skirts, here slung at the hips with a leather belt. The color palette includes sea blue and warm, sunbaked brown.

Prabal Gurung
One of my favorite collections was the one from Prabal Gurung with an interesting mix of 1950s silhouettes —wiggle dresses, grand opera coats, narrow pencil skirts with deep back vents— and twenty-first century high-tech. The color palette here: everything from acids to pastels!

See by Chloé
The collection by See by Chloé has a clean and youthful style with sharp surplus jackets, cropped trousers, and tasseled tops featuring jungle motifs and mosaic prints.

Jason Wu
For Spring, Jason Wu pulled back on the strong tailoring and created the collection "a dialogue between construction and ease". The color palette includes soft shades of beige and blush and sage with some light sparkle which creates a nice balance between simplicity and elegance.
