The movie gives a rare glimpse into the working life of the famous American Vogue’s editor Anna Wintour accompanied by creative director Grace Coddington as they prepare for their 2007 September issue.
Valentino: The Last Emperor (2008)
This documentary follows Italian designer Valentino and his partner Giancarlo Giammetti as they prepare for their SS’06 show and a 2007 retrospective of the brand. It deals with the threatening takeover of the label by a fashion conglomerate which creates tension in a world were Valentino’s autonomy is unquestioned.
McQueen and I (2011)
This Channel 4 documentary is about the life and career of designer Alexander McQueen, with a focus on his relationship with his muse and mentor Isabella Blow. It is based on interviews with friends and colleagues, as well as archive footage.
Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel (2011)
This film combines interviews with fashion stars and footage of the late fashion editor Diana Vreeland herself. It shows how much Vreeland moulded the fashion industry with her iconic style.
Mademoiselle C (2013)
