Resort 2015 - Louis Vuitton

With the Cruise collection presented yesterday in Monaco, Nicolas Ghesquière could proceed fluently from his first collection he presented for Louis Vuitton earlier this year. Still thinking about "a wardrobe" these clothes were significantly more embellished than what he did for Fall and much more playful with collaging mismatched prints, lace and bead embroidering. Regarding the colors, deep pink was paired with baby pink, and caution orange with yellow and sea blue into "a game of colors," as the designer called it himself.

As a silhouette Ghesquière still likes it fit-and-flare, but as playful as the colors and materials, also the silhouette was more diverse with high-waisted, flaring trousers and embroidered slip dresses with scalloped hems which were accessorized with spiky silver belts and gladiator sandal-boots.
