Fashion Week Paris - Mugler

For his first collection on the catwalk for Mugler David Koma wanted start with something new, a blank canvas. The outcome was a collection which could have been presented also under his own name.  With a body-hugging silhouette emphasized by cut-outs and highlighted contours, he created a collection with the right balance of glamour, sex-appeal and sophistication.

Fashion Week Paris - Isabel Marant

Isabel Marant took her inspiration for the spring/ summer collection from Modern Art, like Joan Miró and Antoni Tàpis whose graphics let her to a tribal aesthetics. Marant has woven those influences into her signature styles like for example the little skirt, the belted judo jacket and slouchy trousers. The collection started with black-and-white prints and went to earthier shades of rust and orange while the clothes became more playful with fringing, raffia, rope and shell embellishments without loosing their typical lightness.










Fashion Week Paris - Dior

Raf Simons took the experiment of the Haute Couture collection further and extended it for spring/ summer to a ready-to-wear collection. His creations merge future and history as the silhouette is inspired by the 18th century, but simplicity and lightness let this reference become contemporary or even futuristic at times.
